Hannah Jongebloed

Consultant General Psychologist
B.PsychSci, Grad Dip (Psych), MPsych (Ed & Dev).

I trained in Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash University, with a focus on providing psychology services to children, teens, young adults and their families. I gained experiencing in providing community services for people with mental illness, paediatric psychology and early intervention for children, before starting with Catalyst Psychology. I believe in providing high quality, holistic care to help children, teens and young adults improve their mood and get their best out of everyday life. I have a special interest in working with people who are formal or informal carers. Alongside my training in providing psychology therapy, I am trained in conducting formal assessments. This includes assessing mental health, learning, cognition, development, and educational ability and attainment. Finally, I am a University Associate Research Fellow where I research wellbeing in people living with cancer, and interventions to support those living with cancer and cancer caregivers more broadly.

I use a number of evidenced-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Strengths-based approaches.
