A warm welcome to Hannah who has joined Catalyst Psychology as a General Psychologist. She is a dedicated, professional Psychologist who works with children, teens, young adults, and their parents or carers. In an exciting development, she will be providing face to face care, as we move to ‘covid normal’ care. 

Hannah uses a range of evidenced-based therapies and is dedicated to getting the best outcomes for her clients. She sees people with a broad range of needs and has a special interest in working with formal and informal carers.

Hannah Jongebloed

Consultant General Psychologist
B.PsychSci, Grad Dip (Psych), MPsych (Ed & Dev).

I trained in Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash University, with a focus on providing psychology services to children, teens, young adults and their families. I gained experiencing in providing community services for people with mental illness, paediatric psychology and early intervention for children, before starting with Catalyst Psychology. I believe in providing high quality, holistic care to help children, teens and young adults improve their mood and get their best out of everyday life. I have a special interest in working with people who are formal or informal carers. Alongside my training in providing psychology therapy, I am trained in conducting formal assessments. This includes assessing mental health, learning, cognition, development, and educational ability and attainment. Finally, I am a University Associate Research Fellow where I research wellbeing in people living with cancer, and interventions to support those living with cancer and cancer caregivers more broadly.

I use a number of evidenced-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Strengths-based approaches.
