At Catalyst Psychology, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality Psychology Supervision and training. We help Psychologists provide excellent care to their clients, develop their careers, complete Endorsement, and focus on their own self-care. We have much experience in providing Psychology Supervision and have a number of Board-Approved AHPRA psychology supervisors on staff. Most Supervisee’s choose to use video-conferencing, but you can also attend our Malvern site. 

Dr Kirsty Hildebrandt

Dr Kirsty Hildebrandt is a Clinical Psychologist and a Board-Approved AHPRA Supervisor. She provides Clinical Psychology Supervision and works with General Psychologists, School Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Educational & Developmental Psychologists, Psychologists undergoing Endorsement, Psychologists working in Private Practice as well as those in the Public Sector. She has also supervised and trained Psychiatric Registrars, Teachers, Childcare Educators and other Allied Health Professionals.

She has been a Supervisor since 2004, and was initially trained in Supervision through the University of Central London, University of East London and Royal Holloway University. She also completed training in Systemic and Narrative-based Consultation and Supervision through the Camden & Islington PCT, London. Kirsty is very knowledgeable, and has a warm, collaborative, reflective style of supervision. She uses CBT, Systemic, Mindfulness, IPT and Narrative therapeutic frameworks.

Ms Sheida Badiee

Ms Sheida Badiee is an Endorsed Counselling Psychologist and has been a Board-Approved AHPRA Supervisor since 2015. She worked as a Principal Supervisor in her public sector roles prior to moving to Catalyst Psychology. She has a very supportive and caring style. Sheida loves assisting early-career Psychologists, including General Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, and Psychologists undergoing Endorsement. She is especially experienced in training others in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mental Health First Aid. Sheida also has extensive experience in designing and providing training to clients, students and health professionals.

Ms Zoe Markopoulos

Ms Zoe Markopoulos is an Endorsed Educational & Developmental Psychologist as well as a Board-Approved AHPRA Supervisor. She was a Psychologist and Team Leader in the Department of Education and Training school support services for many years and is also a Supervisor at ACU. Zoe has a wealth of experience helping Psychologists work with children, teens and their families. This includes working with schools, managing crises, self-harm, organisational issues, and supporting clients with learning and behavioural needs. She is able to supervise new graduates, fully registered psychologists and those undergoing Endorsement.

For 23 years I have been  working with people of all ages to help them improve their psychological health. I originally trained as a Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychologist, and still love helping children, young people and their parents.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work in a wide range of excellent services. I’ve worked in Public Mental Health, Secondary Schools, Hospitals, Community Health, and Learning Difficulties Services in both Australia and the UK.

I began supervising Psychologists, Registrar Psychiatrists and other Allied Health Practitioners in 2004. I very much enjoy training and supervising, and am pleased to still be doing this in Private Practice.
I work flexibly with a strong connection to my clients, to help them improve their mental health, well-being, relationships and lives. I enjoy enabling people to be happier and calmer; to meet their goals in life and achieve more; to learn and develop better; and to have better relationships. I work with:

I focus on helping people using scientifically proven therapies including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Narrative and Solution-Focused Therapies.

I am endorsed by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a Clinical Psychologist and an Endorsed Supervisor of other Psychologists. I am also a member of the Australian Clinical Psychologists Association.

Sheida Badiee

Consultant Counselling Psychologist

B.A. (Behavioural Science, Hons), M. Psych (Counselling). 

I have 12 years of experience in counselling adolescents and adults, to help them improve their relationships, their wellbeing and their mood. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life and assisting them through challenging circumstances. I have been designing and providing training for many years, as well as supervising other Psychologists, and really enjoy this work. Helping students improve their study skills has been a particular focus, especially at my time at Swinburne University Student Counselling.

I use a number of evidenced-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focussed Therapy, and social and study skills training.

Ms Zoe Markopoulos

Zoe has been a Psychologist since 2013, having trained at Monash and Melbourne Universities. She is a highly skilled psychologist who also works with Primary Schools and Secondary schools. Alongside her training in psychological therapy, she is also trained in conducting formal assessments. Zoe has a warm, calm and collaborative manner and is excellent at engaging children and young people. She is available to provide face-to-face services for children, teens, young people and parents. Zoe is passionate about ensuring children have the best chance at life, and fulfilling their future with confidence and resilience. She values working together with the client and their families to support the development of her clients.

Zoe is a board-approved Supervisor and is available to provide supervision to other Psychologists.

Zoe uses a number of evidenced-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Strength-based approaches and Parenting Training.
